This original vintage Telephone poster is an iconic piece of musical history!
It announces the concert of the French rock group, in 1979 at the Palais des Sports.
That year also saw the release of their second album, "Crache Ton Venin", which expressed the rejection of a society deemed too unequal with songs such as "J'suis parti de chez mes parents", "Fait divers " and "The Human Bomb" which became the emblem of a whole generation. For the group, it is the consecration.
Then comes the time of the tour with a stopover at the Palais des Sports in Paris. This concert will be filmed and interspersed with excerpts from interviews with members of the group for the needs of the documentary film "Téléphone Public", by Jean-Marie Perier, released on June 13, 1980.
The poster is designed in a rather original way since it works in 2 directions (heads up or heads down).
